BERNINA Club: For BERNINA Owners who have not purchased from Kate's Open Quilt Studio

For all BERNINA Owners. Learn more about your BERNINA and master new skills. Try out different feet, different features, and complete mini projects while spending the afternoon with other BERNINA owners

Winter 2024 Club focuses on Thread Painting and Thread Art featuring Stupendous Stitching - How to Make Fun and Fabulous Fiber Art book by Carol Ann Waugh.

We have kits available for this class, but if you already have an idea of what you want to create, then you can choose your own items. Each kit will come with 1 meter of fabric, a fiber & embroidery floss/embroidery cord, and a twin needle. You will need a fusible woven (if you do machine embroidery, it is possible you already own this item. If you do not, we brought in yardage for your project) for the fabric & a batting/ backing. The book recommends Fusible Fleece, so we will have meterage available at the Studio (or online) if you need it.
For this class, there are a few nice to have (but only necessary if you think you will use these feet again) feet. They are listed below. If you own the Big Book of Feet, then these page numbers will help to reference what we are going to do specifically with each foot.
