Online Only - Classes recorded and sent out.At one time part of every girl’s education included the creation of an embroidery sampler. Today we choose to be makers and creatives and this sampler will teach the basic embroidery stitches as well as intricate ones as our simple circles become fantastical flowers and creatures. The sampler was created by Sue Spargo during the covid epidemic as a way to give back to her students and those wishing to learn a new skill. You will require the pattern “Toned Down Circle Sampler” and Sue Spargo’s companion book: “Creative Stitching Second Edition”. Online Only - Classes recorded and sent out to students.
Perfect for confident beginners and intermediate quilters looking to improve sewing/quilting skillset. Learn new techniques, color theory, and receive a master class on scrap quilting with this great class! Inspired by one of Ken Kingswells trips to Japan, her inspiration is drawn from the many tea houses where she enjoyed green tea and a sweet red bean dessert. Pattern originally created for hand sewing, we have modified this pattern to be mostly machine piecing and paper piecing. Educator: Nancy Elaschuk
