When I was first introduced to ruler work, I thought a new world in machine quilting had opened before me. I was right. Gone were the wavy lines as I stitched in the ditch on my quilts. No longer did I need to draw every quilting line. The ruler quilting world has exploded with rulers for every design quilters could need or imagine. I personally combine ruler work with free motion. Originally designed for long armers, rulers now are available for the domestic machine. A ruler foot is required for your machine and you must have experience in free motion quilting.
